Life After DeathMy goal is not to convert you.Life After Death by allykat08
It is only to convince you to
consider my point of view
and the things that I find untrue.
We all know about that guy
That lives up in the sky.
He, whom you cannot see,
does not exist in reality.
See, He is fictional, not at all true,
unlike real things like me and you.
We can be seen and see as well,
but neither of us will go to Hell.
Why, you ask? I'll tell you why,
because, up there, in the sky,
there is no being that can know
which place we would go.
There is no Heaven, there is no Hell.
But then, you say, we might as well
just die now, if there's no point.
Well, I'd say, I'd hate to disappoint.
See, if the point for you is to be
in the afterlife for eternity,
why live now, right here on earth?
Why even endure your birth?
See, for me, that's not the case.
I live at a careful pace,
for this life is all I'll get,
so I'll leave without a regret.
I will make the most of it,
not wait for life to reset.
I am not afraid to die,
And in this I do not lie.
AtheismSomething tells me God's not real.Atheism by allykat08
I'm sorry, that's just the way I feel.
I cannot believe in Him
and I will not sing your religious hymn.
I respect the things that you believe,
so please don't start calling me naïve
for thinking in a different way
and refusing to kneel down and pray.
I tried for a while; I tried to believe,
but to me it only did deceive,
and helped, in fact, proof Him false.
I no longer dance a religious waltz.
Atheism makes sense to me.
For once I feel spiritually free
to believe what I want to
and not listen to the preacher's view.
I'm all about creativity
but it just seems to me
that this myth of supreme glory
is just a complex bedtime story.
They made it all up and wrote it all down,
and told the story to the whole town.
Desperate for answers, they nodded their heads,
and that night they kneeled by their beds.
The truth is that nobody knows,
but with the path that I chose,
I can easily acknowledge
that we'll never have that knowledge.
I don't pretend I have t
Judge No EvilThis story begins as most stories do, in a land far away many years ago. Once upon a time there were three brothers. They, like most men, had their faults.Judge No Evil by allykat08
The eldest of the three was talkative, more talkative than he cared to admit. He shared all of his thoughts aloud and was known in every village within twenty miles for his lose lips. He could never keep a secret and so he had very few friends. Many would claim he had kissed the Blarney Stone far too many times before.
The middle brother was known for his shifty eyes. He had to see everything, whether it was his business or not. He couldn't stop himself from looking at things; he was just too curious.
The youngest had a problem that came from his ears. He was always careful to hear others talk, even at the expense of him not talking at all. He put others before himself and for that; he never got to share his thoughts and feelings. He was known as a people-pleaser and never got to truly satisfy himself.
The three brothers,

My name is Ally. I am obsessed with rainbows and drawing hearts, peace signs and butterflies on myself. I stand for peace, love and happiness. I enjoy listening to all types of music. I like playing video games and playing guitar. I play soccer and golf. I have a large collection of Rubik's Cubes and love solving them.
I am an amateur writer. I write poems and have started many neglected stories. I primarily post my written work but also some photographs. If I get motivated enough to actually draw something, and think it looks good enough to post, I will submit some drawn pictures.
Other than that, enjoy my work, written or not.
Have a wonderful day!
